Detox Bath Soak

Ingredients: Baking Soda, Borax, Epsom Salt, and Bentonite Clay.

 

Instructions: 

 

1. Fill up a bath tub with hot water/tailored to your comfort. Its      important to sweat during this process.

 

2. Add mixture and use your hand to give it a stir.

 

3. Soak for 20-30 minutes. 

 

**OPTIONAL But NOT needed** You may add your favorite essential oil for the perfect aroma.  

 

**OPTIONAL but NOT needed** you may add 1/2c-1c of apple cider vinegar. Adding apple cider vinegar to your detox bath containing borax, bentonite clay, baking soda, and Epsom salt offers several added benefits including enhanced detoxification properties, improved skin health, alkalizing effects, better circulation, stress relief, balancing body pH levels, and potential support for weight loss efforts.

Epsom salt is high in magnesium, which can be beneficial in small amounts but may pose risks for individuals with kidney problems. The kidneys play a crucial role in filtering excess magnesium from the body; thus, those with compromised kidney function could experience elevated magnesium levels leading to serious health issues like hypermagnesemia.

 

2. People with Heart Conditions

Individuals with heart conditions should approach detox baths cautiously, particularly those containing Epsom salt. High doses of magnesium can affect heart rhythm and blood pressure regulation. Therefore, consulting a healthcare provider before using such baths is essential for anyone with cardiovascular concerns.
